On Wednesday, we chose as a school to meet together at the flagpole and join in with other schools all over the country in praying for the USA. We asked for God's wisdom, blessing , and protection. Our freedom to worship our Lord is something we should never take for granted.

Kids Say the Funniest Things

One of my favorites things to do is to listen to the students play in the different areas. They are so creative and imagine great little worlds in which they play together. There are funny things they do all the time, but today I had to share. Marshall, Sophia, and Katelyn were playing in the home area when I hear Marshall say to Katelyn, "Okay they have swine flu and let's pretend they look like pigs." Katelyn - "Okay we have to give them shots." I just laughed out loud. They are so observant and use everyday life in their imaginative play. I Love it!!!

WELCOME

Welcome, new parents, to our year of Pre-K. We will be doing so many fun activities and learning, learning, learning. We want you to be as prepared as possible for the beginning of kindergarten. Ms. Ada, Ms. Kathy, and I want to partner with you to make this a great experience for your child. We want your child to LOVE going to school, so next year will be filled with excitement rather than fear. Please keep us informed about how you think your child is doing. We think that you, God , and us will make a great team this year!!!

"Vv" is for Vulture Visors

The preschool was invaded by vultures when Ms. Kathy's class made vulture visors for the letter "V". They flapped their wings and flew in and out of each of the classrooms upstairs. It was hard to be scared of these predators because they were just too cute!!! Our alpha buddy this week was Vinnie the Vulture.

Sorry, parents, it has taken me so long to update. Hopefully, over the break I'll get all caught up. You will love this post. The kids share on video their show-n-tells. The ending is great as Peyton realizes that he wanted to present and he did not have something. Well leave it up to his little ingenious mind to find something and give a dissertation about it. What's Happening This Week

For the week of Nov. 17-21:
Sorry, parents, I wasn't able to post Friday's pictures because I left my picture card at school. I will get them up as soon as possible.
This week we are studying the letter "Dd". We will not have a Fun Friday because we will have our Thanksgiving Luncheon. Thank you for turning in your reservations.
Next Monday - Wed. there is no preschool. Daycare is available to those who signed up. Enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving week!!

Attention Parents!!!
Please see Kathy and I about your Thanksgiving Luncheon Reservations as soon as possible. We need to be able to hand in a total number of people to the caterer as quickly as we can. It is approaching fast.
Mon.-Wed. Nov.24-26 of Thanksgiving week, daycare will be available to all full-time students(please tell your teacher if you are planning on coming). If you are only involved with preschool, you may come on those days for a $15 charge. You need to let us know if you are planning to attend.
